DESCRIPTION:Despite the rising popularity of additive and subtractive meth
 ods\, forming remains the dominant process in manufacturing. More efficien
 t forming machines can lead to massive savings in materials and energy. Ne
 w machines are typically incremental improvements on existing designs\, wh
 ile frequently tedious simulations and testing are required for insights o
 n those possible improvements. A novel method for inventing features of fl
 exible sheet forming processes is presented\, with a brief explanation of 
 potential applications.
