  ways of enhancing impact are topics of increasing importance in research 
 assessment. This workshop will therefore explore some of the practicalitie
 s of communicating with print and broadcast media outlets. Nick Saffell (C

 r research look attractive\, and Dr John Nilsson-Wright (Darwin Fellow) wi
 ll talk about what he learnt from working with the international media\, i
 ncluding interview techniques\, writing for online publications\, and some
