DESCRIPTION:This workshop will focus on the challenges of managing social 
 media data for research across the lifecycle of a research project and bey
 ond. Participants will explore the following questions with our panel of e
 xperts:\n\n•	How can I plan the collection of social media data for my r
 esearch?\n•	Is it possible to preserve and retain social media data?\n
 •	Who owns social media data and how will this affect my research?\n•	
 Are there ethical and legal challenges related to social media data preser
 vation?\n•	Is social media data preservation important to the integrity 
 and replicability of my research?\n\nThe workshop is an excellent opportun
 ity to discuss these and any other questions you might have about managing
  social media. Please send us any questions you would like our panellists 
 to answer by filling in the form here and we will try to address them duri
 ng the workshop.\n\nThe speakers on the day will be Dr Katrin Weller\, GES
 IS Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences in Cologne\, Germany and Sara
