DESCRIPTION:Building Bridges in Medical Sciences is a one-day conference t
 hat brings together scientists from different disciplines\, career stages 
 and countries. The conference emphasises the need for interdisciplinary ap
 proaches to tackle the biomedical research and global health challenges of
  the 21st century.\n\nOur goal is to promote crosstalk and collaborations 
 within the scientific and medical communities by bringing to you renowned 
 experts and have them share about how their work has answered important sc
 ientific questions and to contemplate future directions for the advancemen
 t of their fields.\n\nBBMS is aimed at graduate students and early career 
 researchers who want to better understand the current state of cutting-edg
 e biomedical research and develop useful connections to other scientists a
 cross a variety of fields.\n\nOur confirmed speakers are: \nHelen Rees (Un
