DESCRIPTION:In this talk we study the moduli space of Einstein structures 
 on compact manifolds. We will see how the deformation theory of Einstein m
 etrics on compact Kähler manifolds allows us to get a better understandin
 g of this moduli space. Time permitting\, we will also tough upon the gene
 ralization of this to orbifolds.
