DESCRIPTION:Marc Warner is co-founder and CEO of the ASI\, which has helpe
 d organisations including the BBC and NHS make sense of data. He will be g
 iving a talk on his career path from scientist to data scientist\, and why
  he believes that this is the path of the future. \n\nMarc holds a Researc
 h Fellowship in Physics at Harvard University\, studying quantum metrology
  and quantum computing. His PhD research\, in the field of quantum computi
 ng\, was published in Nature and covered in the New York Times. He has wor
 ked in finance and consulted in numerous roles for a range of clients incl
 uding the UK Houses of Parliament\, on solar electricity\, for a multinati
 onal corporation\, on glass damage\, and various start-ups on talent selec
 tion and data-driven decision making.\n\nCurrently\, he is working as CEO 
 of the ASI\, the EMEA-based leader in data innovation\, which he co-founde
 d. The ASI helps organisations to make sense of data\, from big to small. 
 They specialise in data exploration\, data science as a service\, advanced
  analytics\, predictive analytics and data engineering.
