DESCRIPTION:The recent Ebola outbreak showed how suddenly a deadly disease
  outbreak can spread. The 2011 film ‘Contagion’ anticipates the spread
  of a fictitious global outbreak of disease\, following medical researcher
 s\, public health officials\, and the general public as they deal with a l
 ethal infection. Discuss the reality and risks of infectious disease outbr
 eaks with our panel of experts:  Colin Russell\, an epidemiologist and dis
 ease modeller from the Department of Veterinary Medicine who studies the g
 lobal transmission of diseases\, Sarah Caddy\, a virologist from the Depar
 tment of Pathology and recently returned from work in the Ebola treatment 
 centre laboratory in Sierra Leone\, and Tor Tarantola\, from the Departmen
