DESCRIPTION:We explore the phenomenology of flavored dark matter in a mode
 l with gauged flavor symmetries. The dark matter stability is protected by
  a remnant Z3 symmetry that is a subgroup of the standard model flavor gro
 up.  Focusing on the case where the flavor symmetry of the quark sector if
  fully gauged\, we show that a Dirac fermion dark matter with a mass in th
 e range [0.5\,5] TeV satisfies all the constraints. Such a bound does not 
 exist in general and we demonstrate this for Higgs-portal scalar dark matt
 er. For both cases\, we derive the flavor\, cosmological\, direct- and ind
 irect-detection\, and collider constraints.
