DESCRIPTION:Most chemists are familiar with quantum effects in electronic 
 motion\, which give rise to chemical bonds. This talk considers a differen
 t and relatively unexplored aspect of quantum mechanics in chemistry - 'qu
 antum dynamics'\, the effect of quantum mechanics on the motion of the ato
 mic nuclei.\n\nThis talk will give an overview of quantum dynamics\, expla
 ining why it is such a pain to calculate\, and giving\nexamples of quantum
  dynamics in chemical reactions and interactions between water molecules.
