DESCRIPTION:A Winton teatime discussion hosted by David Bent\, Director of
Sustainable Business at the Forum for the Future\, whose aim is to solve
sustainability challenges.\n\nAbstract: The world is not on track to a sus
tainable future. Business-as-usual will not take us there. We need to chan
ge the way we organise ourselves in society – the interplay of economics
\, law\, politics and more that set the operating context for individuals
and organisations\, and the dominant beliefs that underpin it all. \n\nWha
t does the Paris Agreement tell us about the new forms that are emerging t
o address climate change? How do we surf the digital revolution to get the
best\, and avoid the worst\, of its consequences? How can we stimulate an
d harness innovation that takes us to a sustainable future? Can a worldvie
w based on complexity help us to nurture the political economy we need?\n\
nAll welcome to attend and light refreshments will be available.
