  of the pharmaceutical industry- its size and shape\, its posture and stan
 ce. Drawing upon 21 years of experience in the industry and with academic 
 collaborations\, the second part of the lecture will spotlight future pote
 ntial trends in industry and how academia/NHS needs to tool up to capitali
 se on these trends to benefit as UK PLC. In the final part\, the very huma
