DESCRIPTION:An emerging field\, `algebraic systems biology'\, offers algeb
 raic\napproaches to study problems systems biology\, such as biochemical\n
 networks. We present an algebro-geometric method for ruling out\nmodels wi
 th limited data and unknown parameter values. We apply it to\na biological
  system known to dysfunction in many colorectal cancers.\nWe are currently
  extending the framework to include dynamics (i.e.\,\ntime course data) us
 ing differential algebra elimination and will\npresent preliminary results
 .
