DESCRIPTION:\n\nR&D lies at the heart of all technology intensive enterpri
 ses and is a critical resource to be managed for societal\, environmental 
 and economic benefit. The conference will address the challenges that this
  raises\, including the following topics:\n\n- Tools\, toolkits\, techniqu
 es and processes for managing technology\, R&D and innovation\n\n- Entrepr
 eneurship\, investment\, open innovation\, business models and intellectua
 l property\n\n- Technology and innovation policy\, systems of innovation\,
  innovation impact and university-industry interaction\n\n- People\, organ
 isation\, skills and learning for R&D effectiveness\n\nThe programme will 
 feature keynote speakers\, academic and industrial tracks\, workshops\, tu
 torials and a range of social events including a conference dinner.  It wi
 ll be preceded by a two day PhD Colloquium.\n\nOrganised by the Centre for
  Technology Management\, University of Cambridge.
