DESCRIPTION:This will be a fantastic seminar\, highlighting some of Jukka
 ’s recent work that exploits increasingly large pathogen genome datasets
  with creative and insightful analytical approaches. His group’s work ha
 s led to important discoveries into the evolution\, resistance and transmi
 ssion of bacteria and viruses. Jukka is starting a four-month term as a Vi
 siting Fellow at Churchill College and here in the Department\, working on
  infectious disease epidemiology and genomics\, and so this seminar is the
  perfect opportunity to meet him and hear about his research. He is an eng
 aging speaker\, and not to be missed!\n
