 t app SwiftKey\, has grown to become a global phenomenon. Installed on ove
 r 300 million smartphones\, the app replaces the default keyboard with one
  that can write words by swiping between characters\, memorising the user'
 s typing habits to predict their next words.\n\nThe app was also at the ce
 ntre of a collaborative project with Professor Stephen Hawking to revoluti
 onise his communication system. The technology now enables him to write an
 d speak with greater ease and for longer periods of time.  \n\nIn an exclu

 er and CEO of SwiftKey\, the award-winning technology company whose missio
 n is to enhance interaction between people and technology. Jon co-founded 
 SwiftKey in 2008\, and has since been named ‘Young Tech Entrepreneur of 
 the Year’ (2013) at the Europioneers\, and one of the 2015 Forbes ’30 
 Under 30′ for Consumer Technology. Jon holds an MA in Physics from the U
 niversity of Cambridge and prior to founding SwiftKey\, worked as a civil 
 servant in the British Government.\n\n*About Simon Thorpe*\n\nSimon is an 
 angel investor\, coach\, mentor\, and acts as non-executive director to an
 d growth consulting with\, technology companies. He runs his own business\
 , Delta2020\, is a senior advisor to Eleven Canterbury\, a member of Cambr
