DESCRIPTION:This will be a workshop with experts on visual communication o
 f research and data from Vizzuality (the team that developed the interface
  for the Global Forest Watch\, among others). \n\nYou can bring your resea
 rch question\, results or data\, including spatial data. You will briefly 
 present your visual design challenge and after\, participants will be divi
 ded in teams to craft ideas for solutions\, and to discuss the pathway for
  implementation. A visual design challenge can be any research related vis
 ualization that you would like to discuss\, for example\, how to display a
  large dataset over an interactive map\, or how to synthesise complex data
  into a succinct and informative display.\n\nYou can also attend even if y
 ou don't bring your own research question or data\, in which case you will
  participate in the discussion of solutions to the challenges brought by o
 ther researchers. \n\nPlaces for the workshop are limited to 15 attendees.
  To apply for a place\, please fill in the form in the link below by Tuesd
 ay 7 June 9pm. We will use this information to invite 15 of you to attend\
 , and we will operate a waiting list system. The session is mainly address
 ed to early-career researchers (postdocs) in the Social Sciences and Human
