DESCRIPTION:A system-level mechanistic approach to plant development has b
een explored using regulatory network and epigenetic landscape models in v
arious Arabidopsis thaliana organs and life-stages: Shoot apical transitio
ns\, flower development and floral organ specification\, epidermal cell su
b-differentiation\, stem cell niche patterning\, root development and cell
cycle regulation. I will provide an overview on how such models have illu
minated our understanding of cell differentiation and pattern formation du
ring morphogenesis\, as well as our perspectives in using such formal appr
oaches to understanding plasticity and phenotypical evolution.\n\n
