DESCRIPTION:CMS and ATLAS have looked into the possibility of flavor viola
 tion in Higgs decays. In this talk\, I will summarise the bounds on the fl
 avour violating Yukawa couplings from direct searches\, low energy measure
 ments and projected future experiments. I will  discuss the sensitivity of
  upcoming HL-LHC runs and future lepton colliders in measuring lepton-flav
 our violating couplings using an effective field theory framework.
