DESCRIPTION:\nIntegrating biological data is important for computational b
 iology but is complicated by the fact that new types of data constantly em
 erge.  The FlyMine project started out as a system to integrate diverse Dr
 osophila/ Anopheles datasets and make them available through a powerful qu
 ery interface capable of constructing complex queries and running them qui
 ckly.  The underpinning InterMine system is generic and greatly reduces th
 e effort needed to build and maintain both large and small high performanc
 e data warehouses.
