DESCRIPTION:One method for communicating likelihood ratios is to use words
  to express ranges  of values. I shall look at the development of these re
 commendations\, and make  comparisons with other areas in which similar pr
 oposals have been made for  communicating probabilities or risks using wor
 ds\, such as climate change and  drug safety\, and how these have been int
 erpreted by audiences.
