DESCRIPTION:The transverse momentum distribution of Higgs bosons is a sens
itive\nprobe of new physics in the Higgs sector. It is also exceedingly\nd
ifficult to determine accurately in perturbative QCD because its\ncomputat
ion involves four different scales - the top\, bottom\, and\nhiggs masses
on top of the transverse momentum itself.\nAfter a brief review of this im
portant observable\, I will present\nrecent results obtained in the limit
in which the center-of-mass\nenergy is very high\, exploiting a new resumm
ation results which I\nrecently derived. I will show in particular that fo
r transverse\nmomenta of the order of the top mass or higher an effective
field\ntheory approach in which heavy quark masses effects are neglected\n
fails completely\, and present an optimal approximation constructed by\ne
 xploting information from resummation.
