DESCRIPTION:\nThe rapidly evolving field of biomedicine makes the mining o
 f terminology one of the key factors for accessing the information stored 
 in literature. Given that existing biomedical resources are not sufficient
  for text mining applications new techniques are needed for mining new ter
 ms.\n\nThis talk will focus on techniques for automatically recognising an
 d structuring terminology from literature based on the work done at the Na
 tional Centre for Text Mining and the EU BOOTSTrep project.
