cially shared understanding of what it means to live together with a relat
ive with dementia and be a good caregiver\, i.e. the social representation
s of dementia caregiving. Nils Töpfer draws on an analysis of frames and
counter-frames in a recent blockbuster movie on Alzheimer’s disease (“
Head Full of Honey”) as wells as an analysis of anchoring of dementia ca
re in newspaper articles and interviews with dementia caregivers. He will
discuss the findings in relation to the psychosocial issues of (de-)stigma
tization\, caregiver burden\, service utilization and organization of deme
