DESCRIPTION:Recent innovation in transcriptomics have led to large amounts
of specific compound-induced gene expression data being made available in
the public domain. This data is noisy and often difficult to interpret. I
ntegrating this space with other spaces\, including chemical bioactivity\,
pathway and various compound annotations\, provide insight into the mode-
of-action of small molecules. Furthermore\, this aids the drug development
pipeline and may provide opportunities for drug repurposing. In this tal
k I shall outline the basis of compound-induced gene expression profiles a
nd various methods to integrate this data towards obtaining clinically rel
 evant inferences.
