DESCRIPTION:The Web Observatory aims to become a global distributed resour
 ce that will support engagement with datasets and analytics. It is envisag
 ed to provide a distributed catalogue reverse proxies for secure access to
  data and apps published by its users. This presents technological\, legal
  and ethical challenges especially for IoT datasets. This talk will presen
 t those challenges\, discuss the concept of the IoT Web Observatory of the
  EPSRC-funded PETRAS Internet of Things Hub and how those challenges are b
 eing addressed.
