DESCRIPTION:Irina works on a powerful platform for real-time client and se
 rvice analytics routinely processing 10x million service and client events
  per second that includes capabilities for on-the-fly custom metric creati
 on using a flexible query language\, rich visualizations\, and real-time a
 lerting. The talk will cover the challenges faced in designing the system 
 to be able to process such high load in real time with low cost. \n\nBio:\
 nIrina has been with Microsoft for over 14 years working on a wide gamut o
 f products including MSN Mobile\, Photography\, Social experiences\, Xbox 
 Live services\, Bing and real-time monitoring in WDG. Irina has developed 
 large scale Social Gaming services platform based on Azure\, authored an a
 pplication model for distributed systems and implemented a large scale rea
 l-time monitoring and diagnostic solution for Xbox 360 Services and develo
 ped a scalable rich data visualization and exploration platform for reorga
 nizing terabytes of data. Irina is currently a dev lead on data and analyt
 ics team in windows working on a real-time monitoring solution that routin
 ely process 10M(illions) messages/sec\, including analytics\, analysis\, a
 ggregations\, alerts\, standing queries and much more.
