DESCRIPTION:Understanding turbulence in stably stratified flows is essenti
 al to build accurate weather and climate prediction models. Compared to ho
 mogeneous isotropic turbulence\, stratified turbulence unveils a richer dy
 namics: energy spectra slopes vary with the stratification strength\, vert
 ical velocity and temperature fields possess a bursty character and helici
 ty matters. These are the issues we have focused on and studied numericall
 y. I will also discuss the challenges posed by our numerical approach.\n
