DESCRIPTION:The hadron spectrum above the open charm threshold continues t
 o surprise\nand challenges our understanding of confined systems of strong
 ly\ninteracting particles. While for the established mesons of the X\,Y an
 d Z\nfamilies we have entered the era of precision measurements\, new exot
 ic\nresonances are still being discovered in the meson sector and lately i
 n \nthe baryon sector as well. This talk will review recent experimental \
 nresults from LHCb and put them in context to the observations from the \n
 Beauty and Charm factories.\n
