DESCRIPTION:Following the seminar on ‘The Indian National Movement’\, 
 this lecture proposes a comparative analysis of selected visual records\, 
 interviews and private papers documenting several fictionalized narratives
  as well as first-hand experiences of Partition. The lecture includes sub-
 thematic strands that look at gender\, military and diplomatic conflict. (
