DESCRIPTION:The session will consist of a Tech Talk introducing the concep
 ts behind data processing at Google scale\, fundamentals of MapReduce\, Da
 taflow platforms\, real time data processing\, and how our internal cloud 
 allows us to process Petabytes of data extremely fast.\nThe Tech Talk will
  will be followed by an Interview Workshop where participants will be walk
 ed through the interview process\, as well as sample questions\, common mi
 stakes\, and helpful strategies for approaching coding interviews at Googl
 e.\n\nSpeaker bio:\n\nLewis Hemens graduated from Cambridge where he studi
 ed Computer Science. He has been at Google since 2010 and is currently the
  Tech Lead Manager of the Publisher Optimization Team at Google in London.
  His areas of expertise include Data processing and Display Advertising. I
 n his six years at Google he has worked across front-end and back-end team
 s\, from GWT to JavaScript\, Java and C++.\n
