DESCRIPTION:We demonstrate experimentally a nanoscale energy harvester tha
 t utilises the physics of quantum dots. Gate defined quantum dots on GaAs/
 AlGaAs HEMTs are placed either side of a hot reservoir. The discrete energ
 y levels of the quantum dots are tuned to be aligned with low energy elect
 rons on one side and high energy on the other side of the hot reservoir. T
