DESCRIPTION:As a candidate for a quantum theory of gravity\, String Theory
should be able to provide a microscopic interpretation of the degeneracy
associated with the entropy of a black hole. Interestingly enough\, some o
f the features of this 'quantum perspective' might be captured by the clas
sical Supergravity approximation\, according to the fuzzball proposal.\n\n
In this talk I would like to present general aspects of supersymmetric bla
ck holes and their microscopic interpretation in this context\, with parti
cular emphasis on theories of Supergravity coupled to Yang-Mills fields.
