DESCRIPTION:This interactive workshop will introduce and make use of struc
 tured methods (COSTAR and Rapid Idea Improvement Sessions) in clarifying t
 he value proposition of an idea\, advocating effectively for an idea\, and
  engaging others in rapidly improving an idea. Techniques will be practice
 d in small groups. Methods for scaling up these techniques to engage large
  crowds in the innovation process will be provided.\n\nThe 2-hour workshop
  will provide guidance and practice in advanced approaches to:\n\n* Design
 ing for the end-user\n* Defining the problem\n* Uncovering the value propo
 sition\n* Crafting & delivering 'the pitch'\n* Collaborating with colleagu
 es to improve the idea\n* Scaling up this approach for large crowds\n\nThi
 s workshop is aimed at those with an interest in practicing innovation and
  ideation processes in their daily professional capacity. The workshop is 
 aimed at those who wish to engage a small team or a large crowd in structu
 red innovation\, in order to generate novel ideas and together make them a
