DESCRIPTION:Protein aggregation into amyloid structures is associated with
  an increasing number of human diseases\, but they can be also be used for
  functional purposes. In our group\, we combine experimental and theoretic
 al approaches to study the underlying mechanisms behind this phenomenon. I
 n the present talk\, I will illustrate how this strategy can be used to fi
 nd therapeutic avenues for the Transthyretin amyloidosis or to uncover a h
 uman sub-proteome of prion-like proteins.
