DESCRIPTION:This talk describes some techniques for estimating one-way los
 s from a measurement host to network routers\, which exploit commonly impl
 emented features on commercial routers and do not require any new router c
 apabilities. The work addresses the problem of scalably performing one-way
  loss measurements across specific network paths. This is joint work with 
 Lee Breslau\, Yu Gu and Shubho Sen.\n
