DESCRIPTION:This talk will showcase Julia\, a modern high-performance\, dy
 namic\nlanguage for technical computing. It will give an overview of the\n
 language and some of its many powerful features\, including\njust-in-time 
 (JIT) compilation\, type system\, and metaprogramming.\nI will also introd
 uce some of the statistics and data analysis\npackages from Julia's growin
 g package ecosystem\, as well as some of\ninteroperability features with o
 ther languages.\n
