DESCRIPTION:An open meeting to discuss the potential impact of Brexit on t
 eaching\, research\, recruitment in the modern languages. Sally Hunt (Gene
 ral Secretary of UCU) will discuss the implications of Brexit on research.
  Silke Mentchen (Senior Language Teaching Officer\, MML) will look at the 
 potential impact on outreach\, recruitment and teaching. Each of our speak
 ers will present for 15m with ample time for questions\, discussion and pl
 anning a response to the rapidly-changing situation environment for the mo
 dern languages here in Cambridge and in HE at large.
