DESCRIPTION:Many of the events occurring at the LHC require a description 
 in terms\nof a hard process involving many final-state particles. Obtainin
 g the\nnecessary scattering amplitudes with many external legs poses a\nco
 mputational challenge\, in particular if one would like to achieve\nhigher
  order precision in perturbative QCD. I will present several\ntechniques d
 eveloped over the last two decades in this context.
