DESCRIPTION:Duncan will deliver a seminar based around the book he is curr
 ently writing\, titled Reconstruction: The Great War and the Origins of Mo
 dern Politics\, and raise for discussion a number of themes including deba
 tes about the world economy/war economy\, socialism and dictatorship.\n\n*
 Dr Duncan Kelly*'s research interests include modern political and economi
 c ideas and their history\, as well as conceptual issues in modern politic
 al thought - in combination\, what historical and conceptual accounts of p
 olitical and economic ideas can do to help us understand the practice of p
 olitics.
