DESCRIPTION:Actions of a braid monoid give rise to cosimplicial identities
 . Cosimplicial identities for morphisms of (noncommutative) probability sp
 aces lead to spreadable processes for which there is a (noncommutative) de
  Finetti type theorem. This scheme can be applied to braid group represent
 ations from subfactors. We discuss results and open problems of this appro
 ach. This is joint work with G. Evans and C. Koestler.
