DESCRIPTION:This seminar will evaluate the impact of Camfed's comprehensiv
e and targeted approach on dropouts and learning for marginalised girls in
Tanzania and Zimbabwe.\n\nWe find impacts on dropout reductions from remo
ving financial constraints in both contexts\, though more in-class support
is needed for weaker learners and also find that the intervention helped
to narrow the learning gap for girls facing the greatest degree of margina
lisation (low income\, having a long term illness or disability or low sel
 f-esteem).
