DESCRIPTION:We study a stronger notion of primeness for II_1 factors\, whi
 ch was  introduced in my previous work. Using this\, we prove that if G an
 d H are  groups which are realized as fundamental groups of II_1 factors\,
  then  so are groups GH and G \\cap H.
