DESCRIPTION:I will discuss results on the delocalisation of eigenvectors a
 nd the\nspectral measure of random regular graphs with large but fixed deg
 ree. Our\napproach combines the almost deterministic structure of random r
 egular graphs\nat small distances with random matrix like behaviour at lar
 ge distances.\n\nThis is joint work with J. Huang and H.-T. Yau.
