DESCRIPTION:Jason Ditmmer\, professor of Political Geography at UCL\, will
  offer an account of British foreign policy that starts not with elite dec
 isions made in Whitehall\, but with the already-existing material connecti
 ons between various countries’ foreign policy apparatuses. By foreground
 ing these everyday diplomacies across a range of fields — diplomacy\, in
 telligence\, military — it becomes possible to see foreign policy as not
  just a way for Britain to act in the world\, but for the world to act on 
 Britain.
