DESCRIPTION:Ed Turner will talk about some of the conservation issues asso
 ciated with oil palm expansion in the tropics as well as the importance of
  oil palm as a very high-yielding crop. Using findings from his research i
 n Sumatra and Borneo he will discuss ways that oil palm can be managed to 
 benefit biodiversity with no or little cost to yield.
