DESCRIPTION:Ettore Settanni from CIM is going to explain more about his ne
 w role in IfM as the Data Champion.  Following a call advertised in Octobe
 r last year by the Office of Scholarly Communication\, Ettore was selected
  as the Data Champion for IfM. Data Champions are local experts on researc
 h data management and sharing who have been chosen by the central Research
  Data team (www.data.cam.ac.uk/intro-datachampions) to provide advice and 
 training to their colleagues.  As part of his role\, Ettore welcomes quest
 ions about data management in manufacturing and can speak at meetings abou
 t the benefits of managing and sharing research data
