DESCRIPTION:    Accelerating Development in Biomedical Engineering: Collab
 orations between clinicians\, engineers and industry\n\n    This event con
 centrates on the ‘how and why’ of collaborating in biomedical engineer
 ing. It will show how researchers\, clinicians and industry can work toget
 her to solve medical and healthcare challenges. The event will have sessio
 ns on medical devices\, biomechanics\, and imaging and informatics\, toget
 her with discussions on overcoming barriers to collaboration. It also prov
 ides the opportunity to meet representatives of the Cambridge biomedical c
 ompanies and to discuss technical problems with experts from academia\, cl
 inical engineering and industry.\n\nAll members of the Department interest
 ed in collaborating with industry and clinicians are encouraged to attend.
