DESCRIPTION:I will be presenting a study on the paradoxical association be
 tween time-to-diagnosis and tumour stage based on data from more than 10 0
 00 colorectal cancer patients. The talk will focus on my struggle to reach
  (and communicate) a fundamental understanding of these observational data
  – and point to the need for general relativity theory in cancer epidemi
 ology.
