DESCRIPTION:Can everything theoretically be described with mathematics? So
me argue it can. Some go as far as to suggest that we may be living inside
a computer simulation\, and oddly enough there's a reasoned argument for
why that might be the case! What about modelling complex systems? The most
simple of these require numerical integration to solve their differential
equations\, if they exist. Others require computational models that becom
e so complex that describing them becomes almost as time consuming as writ
ing the program code. This talk will explore some of these questions. It w
ill offer few answers\, but as computational power increases it will sugge
st that computational models offer the potential to explore completely new
  questions.
