DESCRIPTION:Since their discovery\, antibodies have played a major role in
  research and medicine. Many antibodies are used for therapeutic purposes 
 and they are a main area of interest for researchers. Traditionally\, ther
 e have been two main approaches for the generation of these antibodies. On
 e of them is the in vivo production by animal immunisation. The other one\
 , phage display\, accounts for the main in vitro technique. I will present
  an alternative in vitro technique that harnesses the properties of hyperm
 utating B cell lines. I will explain how this B cells can be modified for 
 the efficient generation of different types of antibodies. Also\, I will b
 e talking about the advantages of using this new technique over the tradit
 ional ones.
